Here at BodyWorx, we believe exercise is key to a happy and healthy pregnancy. Evidence shows active women during pregnancy are less likely to experience problems in later pregnancy, labour and after birth.

Our maternity health therapist Maddie has a keen interest and experience working with pregnant woman, keeping them active as well as treating and managing pregnancy related aches and pains.

If you were not active before you were pregnant, do not worry, as a general rule we believe you should be able to hold a conversation whilst you exercise when pregnant. Exercise is not harmful to you or your baby, in fact it is proven to have huge benefits to you and your baby’s health.
